Roberto

Sánchez Chávez, originally from Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl and a graduate of the National Conservatory of Music and the Vida y Movimiento School, studied under renowned teachers such as Carol Ann Mcquier, Paty Adams, Judith Johansson, and Kurt Redel. He received the National Youth Award in 1988 and the Nezahualcóyotl Medal in 2002. He was a member of the CREA Philharmonic, the Vida y Movimiento Symphony Orchestra, the Carlos Chávez Symphony Orchestra, the Hidalgo University Symphony Orchestra, the Tamaulipas Children's Symphony Orchestra, and the summer camp of the Benito Juárez Children's Symphonic Band of the State of Oaxaca.

In 2008, he participated in a Musical Conducting course led by Maestro Richard Marksonn, and that same year, he earned a diploma from The Fund Raising School at Indiana University. He has trained children's orchestras throughout the country, including: the children's symphony orchestras of Quiroga and Pátzcuaro, Michoacán; the children's symphony orchestra of Sombrerete, Zacatecas; the children's symphony orchestra of Tetlananca, Tecali, Puebla; the children's and women's symphony orchestra of the Aid and Solidarity Program in Mexico City; and the children's symphony orchestra of the Azcapotzalco Borough.
